By train to Salzburg, Bischofshofen or Radstadt, and from there by post bus to the Lungau
From the east and south:
(Vienna, Graz, Klagenfurt) On Austrian Railways trains to Unzmarkt, from there on the Murtal line to Tamsweg
From the South:
On Austrian Railways trains to Spittal-Millstättersee, then by post bus to the Lungau
