St. Margarethen is the valley town of the Aineck Katschberg ski area!
Access to the ski area by car or bus is hassle-free. For the most part, you can reach the lifts by foot from your accommodations. The ski area includes 70 km of slopes of all difficulty levels with hardly any waiting times at the lifts and guaranteed snow with 100% snow-making coverage!
The new summit lift on the Aineck will take you comfortably and safely to the start of the A1, probably the most beautiful ski run of the Alps – with 6 km of snowy enjoyment, as well as the Snowbowle, a wide, undulating hill – skiing experiences you simply have to see, and do to believe!
For snowboarders there is also plenty of off-piste terrain, along with a halfpipe – in other words, boundless fun for everyone.
